Prof Ladi Sandra Adamu is the first professor of broadcasting in Northern Nigeria. Her PhD. is in Conflict Communication and the first scholar to specialise in this area in the country. She's a lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Prof Ladi attended City University London (formerly College of Journalism, London); Columbia College Hollywood, Los Angeles, Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, Golda Meir Mount Carmel International Institute, Haifa, Israel and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Prof Ladi was the first coordinator of ABU Campus FM for 10 years. Before then, she was the Deputy Editor of The Democrat Newspaper Kaduna, News Editor NTA Jos and Public Relations Officer, Nigerian Embassy Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Prof Ladi is a Fellow of African Council of Communication Educators ACCE and also Fellow of the Institute of Management Specialists IMA. She has over 60 academic publications with over 2000 global citations in Academia.edu. Her Inaugural lecture is on Digitization of Conflict Reporting. She's from Kanke Local Government.
